RX acquires Corp Events, owner of Big Data & AI Paris

Launched in 2012, Big Data & AI Paris is one of the leading data and AI events in France, bringing together more than 200 brands and 15,000 professionals and experts across the data and AI sectors. The next edition of Big Data & AI Paris will take place on 25 and 26 September 2023 at the Palais des Congrès in Paris.

Big Data & AI Toronto will take place 18-19 October, 2023.

The World Artificial Intelligence Cannes Festival (WAICF) was launched in 2022 in partnership with the EuropIA Institute, the city of Cannes and the Palais des Festivals et des Congrès de Cannes – SEMEC. The next edition of WAICF will be held 8-10 February, 2024.

Commenting on the acquisition, Hugh Jones (pictured), global CEO of RX said: “This acquisition is part of our desire to build our business within the growing technology sector. In 2022 we acquired 3rd Street Group Ltd, owner of Big Data LDN (London). The Big Data LDN 2022 event reached over 10,000 attendees, up 10% on the previous year, and the record-breaking number of new exhibitors was a testament to the incredible dynamism of the data market. Earlier this year we announced the launch of Data Universe in New York, which will take place in April 2024. We’re excited to be growing our portfolio with Corp Events and I look forward to working with the team.”
